Molding
TSP currently operates with two Moulders: The Weinig Powermat 500 Moulder and Weinig Powermat 700 Moulder. Both Moulders are capable of running 42 feet of molding per minute. The Weinig Moulder is capable of cutting all species of wood, including MDF.
TSP offers a variety of in stock molding as well as the capability to create any custom mold.
We sharpen all of our knife profiles in house, therefore, you will always see the highest quality molding.

With our Profile Grinder we cut and sharpen our profiles in house. This machine is designed to ensure the operator can produce an optimum knife finish, while maintaining precise accurate profiles. The Weining Profile Grinder has optimal precision that is able to stay within the range of .005 and our operator has 25 years of experience. TSP has the capabilities to customize our knives to accommodate our customers.
Tri-State's OptiControl PowerCom Comparator does direct data transfer to the moulder. With this we are able to pre-set the joint stones into a cassette outside the moulder. This makes for a faster cleaner set up. With this machine we no longer have to measure our knives by hand or preset the program on the production line, therefore, production never stops.
